Mr Burns: So, the catepillar has emerged from its cocoon - as a shark, with a gun for a mouth.

I love it when the Simpsons does mixed metaphors. It's almost as good as 'But the wing was on fire, and the prayer had been answered - by Satan' :)

I've been watching Eerie Indiana. It is happily just as good, if not better, than I remember. The first few episodes are a bit goofy, and the pacing's a little shot, but mostly it is great. And Marshall Teller is as attractive, if not more so, than I remember him. Despite still being 13. Mostly I am mesmerised by his hair and sweaters. Omg.

And he investigates the supernatural and solves crimes. THERE IS NOTHING IN ME THAT CAN RESIST. I'm going to the special hell.

And, in my neverending love of Emmerdale, I have done comms. Because I'd like someone to squee with. [livejournal.com profile] amongmen and [livejournal.com profile] emmerdaleslash. And probably I shouldn't have because I'm actually quite awful at being a mod. I do nothing. But Emmerdale comms, eee! Possibly I will move all my squee over to them, just so things are happening in them. Since it probably only bores and confuses people here. OR MAYBE I WILL JUST DO BOTH! Huzzah!

Ohhh, Erie Indiana was SO VERY GOOD. Or at least, I remember watchign it religiously only I cna't actually remember most of it. I liked the freaky kid with the silver hair who wanted his piece of the pie. That is MY ONLY RECOLLECTION of the show that is not entirely tangled up with my memories of The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Well, that and the fact that he delivered the paper to Elvis.

Dash X! I LOVED DASH X! Apparently he's only in the last six episodes, and I am fighting very hard to watch the other 13, in the right order, first. Marshall's hair helps in this fight. But SO VERY GOOD DUDE. There is an episode about dogs you probably wouldn't want to remember, but other than that it is still love, 11 years later! Dude!

I know not that wee boy. I suspect I am not making you any less uncomfortable by referring to him as a wee boy. I miss the Simpsons though. I haven't seen it in ages on the grounds that my parents hate it and don't actually know that my brother and I don't hate it and we don't wish to watch it publically and draw their scorn. We are not entirely as grown up as we should be.

wee boy

It is slightly awful. But I'm sort of getting used to it now. And other people have slightly paedophilic fannish obssessions. Why shouldn't I?!

I hardly ever watch the Simpsons anymore, because I've mostly seen them and the new ones occassionally try to make me laugh and fail, and it is sad. But occasionally I do, and get the odd gem of a line like that one :)
